Tanzanian athletes have played in John Stephen Akhwari international Marathon championship after defeating Kenyans.

The tournament held today on Sunday, June 9, 2019, the Emmanuel Giriki runner won the side of the men and Failuna Abdi for girls to take the first place and leave the runner from neighboring Kenya in a 21-kilometer race.

Emmanuel Girik who comes out of the JWTZ has spent 1: 1 am while the Failuna from the winning spirit club spends at 1:12:20.

For girls the second winner of Judith Cherolo from Kenya and third place Magdalena Chrispin of Tanzania.

The second winner Stivin Huche and third Michael Joseph all the Tanzanian.

For five kilometers, Tanzanians have led to the side of the boys and the winner is Mark Sylivesta, second position is taken by Matthew Sombi and third place is Michael Kishindi.
